PAC adheres strictly to the four core humanitarian principles:

2. We address human suffering wherever it is found. The primary goal of our humanitarian action is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and uphold the dignity of all individuals.

4. PAC does not take sides in hostilities or involve itself in any political, racial, religious, or ideological controversies.

5. Impartiality:

6. Our humanitarian actions are solely guided by need, prioritizing the most urgent cases without discrimination based on nationality, race, gender, religion, or political beliefs.

8. PAC operates autonomously from political, economic, military, or other objectives to preserve the integrity of our humanitarian work.

These principles are not only foundational to our programs but also an integral part of our identity, mission, and vision. Since our inception, we have worked tirelessly to ensure they are respected and embedded in every aspect of our operations.

Commitment to the Code of Conduct

PAC’s Code of Conduct reflects our dedication to ethical standards and professional behavior. It is rooted in the following core values:

Implementation and Enforcement

• Training and Awareness:

• All PAC staff undergo mandatory training on international humanitarian law, safeguarding, and our Code of Conduct as part of their orientation. They sign the Code of Conduct to affirm their commitment.

• Visibility and Accessibility:

• PAC’s humanitarian principles and Code of Conduct are prominently displayed at our facilities and mobile service locations, ensuring accessibility for both staff and beneficiaries.

• Community Engagement:

• PAC promotes active engagement with beneficiaries through visual signs and reporting channels, fostering transparency and accountability.

• Monitoring and Reporting:

• Field focal points and the joint efforts of our HR and MEAL teams ensure that any breaches are reported, addressed, and resolved promptly.

PAC’s Zero-Tolerance Policy

• PAC upholds a zero-tolerance approach to fraud, corruption, and any behavior that undermines our humanitarian mission. This includes stringent anti-fraud policies, compliance tools, and robust financial management systems.

   

• Our dedication to these principles and policies has been recognized by our partners, including UN agencies and international NGOs, reaffirming PAC’s role as a trusted humanitarian actor.
